I started my attempt to do photography 1st of June, 2010. Got my SLR from Kimstore - I texted her 8:00 AM that day, I had  it on my hands by 6:00 PM (Great business, Kimstore!) *Go ahead and check her site, just click on the link, she really have the best prices in town at the touch of your fingertips.* Buying SLR is one of the biggest decisions I made in my life, and it turned out to be one of the best things that happened to me. *cheesy*


I developed my interest in taking photos when I got jealous of bloggers who have watermarked photos on their posts. I just said, someday, I'll have my own. Then soon, my sister handed down her N72 - one of the old Nokia's which can capture decent images. Check this post, says a lot how happy I was having a camera phone >> My First Dark Roast Coffee Jelly Frappuccino. Then there came the day when I hated that phone for the sucky quality of pictures >> My Baby's First Month.

And now, I've spent time with my baby, but ain't sure how to put my own twist into taking pictures. I'm still learning. YouTube is my baby, with some help from a couple of articles online. Well, in time, I just know, I'll be good, hahah!

After some time, I found out, my cousin, Czarina, is also into photography. She pointed me to a person whom she idolizes, Sue Anna Joe. (Click the caption of the pic on the right.) I should find somebody like her to draw direction to my hobby. I just shoot whenever I like to but I don't really know what to specialize on.

Right now, I'm just enjoying taking pictures but surely, in time, I would want to make a lot of money out of it. Thinking of going into lots of formal training. Earlier this year, I attended FPPF's Basic Photography Workshop - http://photoworldmanila.com/. It was an eye opener - in every shoot, you could draw a lot of words, and critiques. I really want to hear more of what pros have to say on what I can do and what I should be doing. I enjoy doing portraiture and some landscapes, though I am not versed with all the technicalities. Videos and the some web pages are all I have. But I'll be good at this in time!! Wohohoho!
